Combat Jujitsu Training

Combat Ju Jitsu ClubThe training is very intense. Each session is made up of 3 parts: an intensive warm up; a technical section and a pad work workout. I believe that many systems focus too much on just the techniques of an art and not enough on the physical and mental readiness required for a pressurised situation. Each session will take you out of your comfort zone and push you to the level required. It’s not a question about being fit enough. It’s about your mental approach not giving in or giving up. This is an achievement in itself. The technical section will cover anything from wrist locks to applying a choke. It is a varied and very street-effective session. We don’t practice elaborate and “flashy” moves. We do not practice for a sport application either. With this in mind, our focus is on quick, simple and effective techniques. Minimum time, maximum results. Our syllabus, our attitude and the way we train evolve to suit our environment and the way we deal with attacks or situations. The best chance of survival is to adapt and be prepared. Training must reflect the way you hope to perform in a grading or confrontation. Train hard, fight easy.
